Riot realised that a straight port of League wouldn't work on console and mobile — it's too inaccessible — with matches taking anywhere from 30 minutes up to an hour to complete. In Wild Rift, matches will only take around 20 minutes. A new twin-stick control scheme has also been introduced. As this is a separate game, if you've been playing League on PC, you, unfortunately, won't get your unlocks from the PC version.
Riot will be rolling out limited Alphas and Betas later this year in select regions, with a full release on most platforms coming at the end of 2020.
